Telstar host PSV in the Eredivisie on Sunday, 22 March 2026 in Velsen-Zuid, with the leaders chasing the title and the hosts battling to avoid the relegation play-offs.

PSV have won 22 of 27 league games and beat Telstar 2-0 when the sides met in August. Telstar are 16th and face the division's most productive attack.

Telstar's recent run has swung between results, with wins over NAC Breda 3-0 and away at Fortuna Sittard 4-1 offset by defeats to Feyenoord 2-1, AZ in the cup 2-1 and 3-0 at Heerenveen last time out. The Boeren have won three of their past five in all competitions, but lost to NEC in the cup and again in the league.

Anthony Correia is without defenders Nigel Ogidi Nwankwo and Devon Koswal through injury and Guus Offerhaus is suspended, with Adil Lechkar and Nökkvi Þórisson also sidelined. The Boeren are missing Joey Veerman and Guus Til, while Alassane Plea, Sergiño Dest, Mauro Júnior, Ruben van Bommel, Nick Olij and Noah Fernandez are out.

The Boeren average 61% possession with 86.50% passing accuracy and have scored 77 league goals, with Ismael Saibari on 12 and Ricardo Pepi on 10 (per league rankings). Telstar concede 1.7 per game and have kept four clean sheets, so Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp's seven goals and Patrick Brouwer's six may be vital. Notably, Telstar have yet to score from a set piece this season, so open play efficiency could decide their threat.

A home win would lift Telstar to 27 points and ease the relegation play-off pressure. Victory would take the Boeren to 71 points and strengthen their grip on first place in the title race.
