The Addicks won 2-1 away to West Ham in their second league game of the new Championship campaign, while Spurs lost 3-0 at Brentford.

The Premier League side were fortunate not to go 4-0 down after Igor Thiago missed a penalty late in the game, while Nathan Jones’ side benefitted from a missed penalty.

Taty Castellanos hit the post from the spot in stoppage time, which ensured that the London outfit brought all three points back to the Valley.

But the two clubs will now be targeting a place in the third round of the EFL Cup when they meet on Wednesday evening in a 7.45pm kick-off.

Here we list all the players that will miss the game for both teams…

Charlton Athletic

Charlie Kelman

Charlie Kelman was absent for Charlton’s victory against West Ham last weekend, with a dislocated shoulder currently keeping him out of action for the next number of weeks.

Timothy Ouma

Timothy Ouma was also unavailable for selection last weekend, as he adjusts to English football after his move to Charlton this summer.

The club issued an update last week hinting that he is being given time before being thrown into the team, so it’s unlikely he’ll feature against Spurs.

Kayne Ramsay

Kayne Ramsay has been absent since the first round of the EFL Cup with an injury, and he is set to be absent for a number of weeks.

This will keep him out of the clash at the Valley on Wednesday night against Roberto de Zerbi’s side.

Tottenham Hotspur

Micky van de Ven

Micky van de Ven missed the 3-0 defeat to Brentford last weekend due to a minor injury suffered in pre-season.

However, the centre-back is looking unlikely to return in time for Wednesday’s game at home to the Addicks.

Pedro Porro

Pedro Porro was late returning for pre-season due to his role in helping Spain win their second ever World Cup.

And the defender is unlikely to return to action on Wednesday night as he continues his recovery back to full fitness.

Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus missed the defeat to Keith Andrews’ side, even though he is back in training.

The winger has been absent since January due to undergoing surgery on his quad, and is expected back in September.
