Walsall have 15 players under contract for 2026-27 as new head coach Lee Grant begins his summer rebuild.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, deals to 2027 cover Albert Adomah, Alex Pattison, Elicha Ahui, Ronan Maher, Jenson Kilroy, Vincent Harper, Mason Hancock, Courtney Clarke and Harry Williams. Academy defender Stan Straw has a first professional contract of undisclosed length.

Contracts to 2028 include Andrew Dallas, Aaron Pressley, Rico Browne, Lewis Simper and Harrison Burke. Dallas has joined from Barnsley and Simper arrived on Monday after his Sutton United deal expired.

Adomah, 38, agreed another year earlier this month. Pattison signed from Bradford City in January on an 18-month deal and has one goal in 17 appearances.

Ahui’s option year was triggered after a 10-month ACL lay-off. Maher has 12 months remaining on the two-year contract he signed last summer, and Kilroy is currently the only goalkeeper on the books.

Harper penned a two-year contract, with an option of a further year, after leaving Exeter City last summer. Hancock missed six months with a dislocated knee following his move from Airdrieonians.

Clarke contributed two goals and seven assists in 50 matches in his first EFL season. Williams is one of two players retained from Mat Sadler’s first campaign, the other is Maher.

Pressley joined from Stevenage last summer on a three-year deal and finished with seven goals. Browne has committed his future after reaching the end of his previous contract, while Burke arrived from non-league Chester City on a three-year deal with an option.
