A quartet of members of Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad have shared a dressing room with incoming teammate Joan García in the past.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

Goalkeeper Joan, of course, is at present Barcelona’s sole signing of the summer transfer window.

After the 24-year-old made clear his willingness to cross the Catalan divide from Espanyol, Barcelona wasted little time in depositing Joan’s release clause with La Liga.

The Spaniard, in turn, is expected to take over no.1 duties at the Camp Nou next season.

And as alluded to above, upon his arrival at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for pre-season training next month, Joan will link up with four one-time teammates.

The shot-stopper last summer played with all of Eric García, Fermín López and Pau Cubarsí at the Paris Olympic games.

And Joan then linked up with Eric once more, as well as Gerard Martín, in the Catalan national team camp last month.
