Only a quartet of players at La Liga giants Real Madrid have now featured from the off in all six of the club’s fixtures this season.

Los Blancos were of course back in action earlier this evening.

Turning attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, Xabi Alonso’s troops welcomed Espanyol to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.

Alonso opted to ring the changes in his XI for the matchup, returning the likes of Dani Carvajal, Raúl Asencio and Vinícius Jr. to starting duties.

Dropping out, meanwhile, was one of Real’s stars to have featured from the off in all of the club’s outings in 2025/26, in the form of Arda Güler.

As much means that only four players have been ever-presents in the capital outfit’s line-up to this point in the term.

The quartet in question? Thibaut Courtois, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Álvaro Carreras and Kylian Mbappé.

When all was said and done on Saturday, Real Madrid extended their advantage atop the La Liga table, courtesy of a 2-0 triumph.
