Ipswich Town take on Millwall in a crucial six-pointer at Portman Road this weekend, but which players will miss out through injury and suspensions?
The battle to secure automatic promotion into the Premier League this season is heating up, and it doesn't get much bigger than a sizeable clash at Portman Road this weekend.
Ipswich Town are set to host fellow promotion-chasing rivals, Millwall, in what promises to be a closely-fought battle between two teams that have caught the eye this season.
Ipswich have been strong on home soil for much of this season, with the Tractor Boys only losing once at Portman Road in this year's Championship campaign.
Millwall have the fourth-best away record in the division though, and the Lions are level on points with Ipswich heading into this clash on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams have some injury concerns heading into this match though, and they'll be hoping that the absentees aren't missed too much for such a crucial game.
We'll take you through all the players that are set to miss Ipswich's clash with Millwall at Portman Road, as well as providing timely updates on their fitness.

Leif Davis is the notable absentee for Ipswich Town this weekend against Millwall, with the former Leeds United left-back being suspended after being hit with a three-game ban for an incident involving Leicester City defender, Caleb Okoli.
Ipswich boss, Kieran McKenna issued an update on the decision on Davis, who won't feature until after the international break.

Young hasn't featured in the matchday squad with Ipswich since late January with a hip injury, and he won't be available for the visit of the Lions at Portman Road this weekend.
His experience is certain to be useful both on and off the pitch for Ipswich this season, and it'll be interesting to see whether he'll be awarded a new contract by the Tractor Boys, especially if they're to win promotion back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Townsend hasn't played a single competitive game for Ipswich Town this season, with the full-back suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during pre-season, which has kept him out of action.
The former West Brom defender could have been a useful player to call upon in the race for promotion, but it doesn't seem likely that he'll feature between now and the end of the 2025/26 season.

Burns has had plenty of injury problems in the last few seasons, with the midfielder only returning to the Ipswich squad on Boxing Day in 2025.
However, the 31-year-old winger picked up another problem against Sheffield Wednesday recently at Hillsborough, which could keep him out for the short-term future.
Speaking in a recent post-match press conference, Ipswich boss, Kieran McKenna issued an update on Burns' latest injury concern, and revealed that he would miss the game on Saturday.

Luongo has been out of action since October 2025, after sustaining a cruciate knee ligament injury. The midfielder won't feature in the crunch clash at Portman Road this weekend, but is making progress in his rehabilitation.
The Australian international recently posted on his Instagram account with an update, which included footage of him undertaking his first session back on the grass, which will be pleasing to see for Millwall supporters.

The 20-year-old has made 12 appearances in total for Millwall's first-team this season, but hasn't been involved in the matchday squad since their 1-1 draw with Derby County back in December 2025.
The Scotsman picked up a hamstring injury, and isn't expected to return to the squad for the game against Ipswich on Saturday afternoon.

Doughty picked up an injury against Hull City earlier this month, and although Alex Neil revealed that the injury isn't expected to keep him out for a prolonged period, it seems a tough ask for the left-back to be available for this weekend's clash with Ipswich.
The former Luton Town man has made 25 appearances in total for the Lions this term in all competitions, and will be hoping that he can return to action at the earliest of opportunities, as Millwall look to make a serious push for the automatic promotion places in the Championship.

De Noore is another of those to pick up an injury in Millwall's game with Hull City, and it's unlikely that he'll feature against the Tractor Boys.
The 29-year-old has made 23 appearances for Millwall this season, and will be looking to impress when he returns to action, especially considering his current contract with the club is set to expire in the summer.
Similarly to Alfie Doughty, Alex Neil revealed that De Noore isn't expected to be out for too long, and should return to action sooner rather than later.
