Erling Haaland has shattered no shortage of records since signing for Manchester City.
His debut season saw him break the single-season goal record on route to the Golden Boot and the milestones have kept on coming.
Haaland has added another Premier League landmark to his ever-growing collection, after netting an early opener for Manchester City against Brighton on Saturday.
The Norwegian’s penalty brought up 100 goal involvements as a Premier League player, with Haaland the fastest footballer to have achieved the feat.
The 24-year-old’s century has seen him score 84 goals and provide 16 assists, in just 94 appearances. No player in Premier League history has ever reached 100 goal involvements in less than a 100 games.
The man is a monster.
Haaland has eclipsed Alan Shearer to take the record, with the former England captain reaching 100 goals and assists on his 100th appearance in the Premier League.
Eric Cantona and Mohamed Salah are next up after hitting a century of goal involvements in 116 games, with former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero rounding out the top five.
Next in his sights will be becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Premier League. He has 30 games to score the 16 goals required to beat Alan Shearer’s record (124).
Few would bet against him achieving that feat.
