With the release of EA Sports FC 26 approaching, She Kicks takes a look at the best women’s teams in this year’s edition of the game.

EA Sports has been releasing more details about the game in recent days, including the highest-rated players.

Ratings for the top clubs in the world have now been revealed, with 16 teams receiving a rating of four stars or higher.

The Women’s Super League and the National Women’s Soccer League both have four teams among the game’s elite.

Germany has three four-star rated teams, France and Spain have two and Italy have one.

Here we take a look at the 16 best women’s teams in EA Sports FC 26.

The best women’s teams in EA Sports FC 26

Five-star teams

Arsenal and Chelsea are among five teams handed the maximum five-star rating in EA Sports FC 26.

Both teams deserve this achievement, as Chelsea completed an unbeaten domestic treble last season, while Arsenal won the Women’s Champions League.

Barcelona, who lost in the final, are also given five stars after their domestic success last season.

The final two five-star rated teams are French champions Lyon and German champions Bayern Munich.

Four-and-a-half-star rated teams

Both Manchester City and Manchester United are just half a star away from the maximum rating in the game.

Last season, Manchester United edged out City to finish third in the Women’s Super League, earning them the third and final spot for this season’s Champions League.

United are in Champions League action on Thursday against Brann, with new signing Fridolina Rolfo set to miss the game.

Also in Champions League action on Thursday is Real Madrid, who have also been given a four-and-a-half-star rating on EA Sports FC 26.

Real Madrid finished second in Spain last season and were knocked out by Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Kansas City Current are the highest-rated NWSL side after an impressive 2025 season, which sees them sit 14 points clear at the top of the table.

Paris Saint-Germain and VfL Wolfsburg, who finished second in France and Germany respectively, are also given four-and-a-half stars.

Four-star rated teams

Orlando Pride, NWSL champions in 2024, are one of three sides from the United States who have been given four stars.

The other two teams are Gotham FC and Washington Spirit.

Gotham FC’s side could be set to get even stronger as they are closing in on a move for Jaedyn Shaw from North Carolina Courage in a record trade between NWSL sides.

The final two sides at four stars are Italian champions Juventus, and Eintracht Frankfurt, who finished third in Germany last season.

Barcelona pair Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmati are the highest-rated players on EA Sports FC 26, with both given ratings of 91.

Two Arsenal players are in the top-10 rated players in the game, following their Champions League triumph last season.

Alessia Russo and Mariona Caldentey are the highest-rated Women’s Super League players in the game, with ratings of 89.

EA Sports FC 26 is released in the United Kingdom on September 26th.
