The renovation of the legendary Mexican stadium Estadio Azteca has been completed ahead of this summer's World Cup, and the result is absolutely stunning.
The famous footballing venue in the heart of Mexico City has seen some memorable nights in the past, but in recent years had fallen into a state of disrepute.

With the renovations, the stadium increased its capacity from 83,000 to 87,500. What's more, they added new seats, a new sound system, two video screens, new locker rooms, and a hybrid pitch was installed.
The first official match in the new and improved Azteca will take place this evening as Mexico take on Portugal in a friendly.
Check out the new look!
Some things just go together. The Azteca and a World Cup are a match made in heaven.
