If Leeds United avoid relegation, several loanees could be moved on this summer as part of a reset. They are four points clear with seven to play, facing only one current top nine side, Old Trafford on Monday then none in the final six.
Leeds Live reports that summer priorities include the goalkeeper group, a back-up left-back and a creative midfielder. Many players were loaned out with purchase clauses after struggling to bank fees last year, though few, if any, are expected to be triggered.
Joe Gelhardt, contracted to 2027, has said he would join Hull City now and, if Leeds stay up, he likely departs after limited use last season. Largie Ramazani, 2028, was omitted before leaving and has four in his last seven for Valencia, so he could pursue regular football elsewhere despite no buy-out clause.
Jack Harrison, 2028, struggled as a wing-back after a recall and is playing regularly at Fiorentina, so a parting looks likely. Mateo Joseph, 2028, fell out of favour after pre-season issues before joining Mallorca, and if Farke remains he may head out again, with a sale less likely given his age.
Max Wober, 2027, has barely played at Werder Bremen and is set to return so Leeds can try to sell, which will be difficult. Isaac Schmidt, 2028, is out of favour there too, while teenager Harry Gray is impressing at Rotherham United and will be kept.
