Bournemouth appear to be timing a late run towards the European places perfectly this season.
The Cherries have won consecutive away games atArsenal and Newcastle United to build momentum for the run-in, and have climbed into the top eight.
A seventh-place finish or higher will guarantee continental football for next season, and Bournemouth trail sixth-placed Chelsea by just a point, ahead of tomorrow's clash with Leeds.
"Football changes thick and fast, and it has made us want to compete more for the rest of the season," Bournemouth wingerMarcus Tavernier said after the win at Newcastle.
"We want to achieve getting into Europe; it's tight in and around us at the moment.
"We're performing consecutively for games and keeping our performances high, and that's why we are doing well.
"We're in great form, 13 unbeaten now. That's not lucky from us. We've worked hard and earned it on the training pitch."
Andoni Iraola is preparing to say adios to Bournemouth in the summer, but he's determined to leave on a high note.
Bournemouth are 13 games unbeaten in thePremier League, having last tasted defeat against Arsenal on January 3rd. Not only is it the longest active unbeaten run in the division, but it's the longest undefeated sequence recorded all season.
