It does seem very clear now that the story of Theo Hernandez at Milan is over. His contract is up in 2026, but no talks over a renewal are ongoing. A few days ago an offer for come in from Al Hilal who are now managed by Simone Inzaghi but the left-back seemingly has no plan to leave Europe just yet. Hernandez seems to want to go back to Atletico Madrid, where he spent 10 years, mostly in the academy. Atleti too are looking at number of left-backs but none of them are better options than Theo Hernandez, in spite of the poor season he has had. Diego Simeone has always been a huge fan and as per TMW, personal terms will not be an issue. The problem is that Atletico are only offering €15 compared to the Al Hilal offer which was double that.
