Manchester United are working intensively on a transfer for Sandro Tonali and see the midfielder as their preferred solution for next summer. According to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old has emerged as the top target internally after other candidates have lost ground.

The English side are therefore planning to make concrete approaches to Newcastle United after the end of the season. Confidence is growing within the club that a deal is fundamentally feasible.
