Arsenal lost 2-1 to Manchester City on Sunday in a huge blow to their Premier League title chances, and while there was disappointment in the Gunners dressing room after the game, there was no despondency, according to The Athletic.
Arsenal stars have decided to focus on their remaining five games and Mikel Arteta will hope they can quickly put the disappointment behind them when Newcastle United visit Emirates Stadium next Saturday.
The North London club remain top of the league and still fancy their chances of getting the job done.
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice was reportedly spotted at the end of the game telling his teammates that the title race is not over, and a win against the Magpies will be huge.
They played better yesterday compared to their performance in the Carabao Cup final, and winning their remaining five league fixtures is feasible.
However, it will not come easy as Newcastle, Fulham, West Ham United, Burnley (if they are not relegated by then) and Crystal Palace still have plenty to play for.
Nevertheless, the Gunners also have the easier run-in as Man City face Everton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Palace after their game against Burnley on Wednesday.
Arsenal could also be getting some much-needed injury boosts as the likes of Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori are close to returning to full fitness.
Arteta has not had a fully fit squad all season, with at least one key player always injured at one point.
The onus is on the players to step up and treat every game like a final, and the fans will be hoping they can get the job done in the coming weeks after the recent disappointing run.
