The 2026 World Cup takes place in Canada, Mexico and USA from 11 June to 19 July. Several players from FC Bayern will be in action with their national teams, battling for international football’s most prestigious title. On Thursday, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann announced his squad for the tournament. Find out here which FCB pros have been selected so far.

Seven Bayern players are in the German squad for the World Cup. With Manuel NeuerJonathan TahJoshua KimmichLeon Goretzka, Jamal MusialaLennart Karl and Aleksandar Pavlović, the German record champions make up by far the biggest contingent in the squad. For Neuer, who returns to the national team after his retirement following the 2024 European Championship, it will be his fifth World Cup. Only most-capped player Lothar Matthäus has taken part in the same number of World Cup tournaments for Germany. Kimmich and Goretzka are playing in their third, and Musiala in his second World Cup. Tah, Karl and Pavlović will appear at a World Cup for the first time.

In addition, Jonas Urbig will travel to America with the DFB Team as an extra goalkeeper, but is not part of the 26-man squad.
