Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has been speaking about Chelsea’s ‘advantage’ ahead of tonight’s big game.
The Blues are in Germany tonight to face Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in their first game finally back in the Champions League. We all know just how tough this game is going to be for Enzo Maresca and the Chelsea players.
Maresca has been defending his rotation policy within his squad ahead of the game after he got criticised for some decisions he made in the 2-2 draw against Brentford on Saturday night.
The Chelsea head coach was also speaking about the expectations for the Champions League as he took part in the pre-match press conference last night once he and the squad had landed in Germany.
And Bayern boss Kompany has also been addressing the media ahead of the game in his press conference, with some extra quotes coming out late last night on Chelsea.

As cited by TNT Sports, Kompany said:
“When you look at Chelsea now, especially after the Club World Cup, I don’t think you make too much distinction between Chelsea and the absolute top teams in England, so they’re back there.
“The advantage you have with young players is that where they are today, tomorrow they’ll always be better. If they’ve got good habits, if they’ve got a good environment, that’s what happens with a top mindset.
“I think that’s the hidden strength of Chelsea, they’ve got a team that’s on a pathway that will keep going up. We’ve got the advantage, of course, of being at home and having a team with experience.”
