In a hilarious response to Chelsea ‘hijacking’ Newcastle’s transfer targets, one fan site seems fuming about it in a recent article!

Chelsea beat Benfica in the first set of knockout rounds in the Club World Cup on Saturday night, but it was far from easy and also, very far from drama!

Enzo Maresca labelled it a joke that the game got suspended for two hours due to sever weather conditions and slammed the tournament location as a result, and he really does have a point here.

And then came a flurry of late goal with Benfica equalising deep into stoppage time through a penalty to send it into extra time. Chelsea then bagged a bunch of goals to go on and win the game before it got to penalties!

Chelsea are soon set to announce the signing of Joao Pedro of Brighton, a player that Newcastle were very close to signing before Chelsea ‘hijacked’ the deal! Hilarious!

Now their fans are moaning and getting salty over Chelsea being keen on another one of their transfer targets, Mohammed Kudus of West Ham!

“We all know how they’re doing it, but do we know why they’re doing it? Chelsea are black belts at gaming the system and finding ways around PSR, and while almost every other club plays by the rules, Chelsea are always finding ways to exploit loopholes and stay one step ahead of the Premier League.

“The real question is, why do they need so many players? It genuinely feels like they have four players for every position on the pitch. They’re still bound by the 25-man squad rule that other clubs are, there’s no getting around that, so why the greed?

“To any smug Chelsea fans reading this, yes, you’re right. This is just jealousy because Newcastle don’t seem to have the stones to game the system like this, but it’s also a genuine question about why the stockpiling of players.”
