Thierry could miss the rest of Valencia's season after sustaining a right adductor injury, the club said in a statement. With his deal expiring this summer, he may also have played his last game for the side.
No recovery timeframe was given, and he will continue treatment and reconditioning at Paterna until clinical improvement.
The right-back was withdrawn after 10 minutes at Son Moix with discomfort during Tuesday's match against RCD Mallorca, then awaited tests to determine the extent of the issue.
Carlos Corberán is again without the Portuguese on the right flank. Renzo Saravia, who made his Valencia debut in that game, is in line to start. Unai Núñez, now fit, could also cover there, but he appears set to partner Tárrega in central defence as Cömert remains injured and will miss Girona at Mestalla.
With no timeline set, his campaign could be over.
