Head coach Adi Hütter’s players took part in their first training session of the 2026/27 season in front of Deutsche Bank Park on Monday.
In front of 2,000 supporters, the Eintracht Frankfurt squad took part in their first pre-season training session ahead of the 2026/27 campaign on Monday. Five goalkeepers and 25 outfield players, including summer signing Malik Pimpong, the returning Noel Futkeu and returning loanees Junior Dina Ebimbe, Jessic Ngankam and Niels Nkounkou, were put through their paces under the watchful eye of head coach Adi Hütter.
“Everyone was 100 percent focused – my first impression is a positive one,” said Hütter. “The atmosphere was great too. If we had let in 5,000 people, 5,000 would have turned up. It’s up to us to establish that bond with the fans so we can be united.”Friendly against FC Gießen on Saturday
The Eintracht players have daily sessions to look forward to this week before playing their first friendly of pre-season against FC Gießen on Saturday 18 July. Kick-off at the Waldstadion is at 17:00 CEST.
