The Juventus legend was only 20 years old at the time, and the goal was part of a famous comeback against Fiorentina, his 89th minute strike adding to a brace from Gianluca Vialli to mark a 3-2 win after they found themselves 2-0 down after 74 minutes.

The 'impossible volley' was a young Del Piero's first important goal for Juventus, and announced him as a player on the big stage.
