The 2026 World Cup finals are now fast approaching.
Canada, Mexico and the USA are hosting the tournament and it will kick off on Thursday 11 June 2026, then all the way through to the final on Sunday 19 July 2026.
There are now 42 teams (see below) that have qualified for these 2026 World Cup finals.
A drama filled Tuesday saw a number of other nations qualify.
With the 2026 World Cup finals seeing a much expanded 48 teams taking part, that means six places still to fill.
The 42 teams now through to the 2026 World Cup finals:
Canada, Mexico, United States
Africa:
Algeria, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia
Asia:
Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Uzbekistan
Europe:
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland
Oceania:
Curacao, Panama, Haiti
