Thomas and Gallagher fire Stoke City up to eighth | OneFootball

Stoke City beat Norwich City 2-0 at Carrow Road to move up to eighth in the Championship.

In the 75th minute, Sam Gallagher turned in Sorba Thomas's cross to break the deadlock. Thomas then sealed it with a composed finish from the centre of the box after Million Manhoef's pass (82.).

Gallagher had replaced Divin Mubama at the interval and immediately gave Stoke City a stronger target in attack, repeatedly occupying the centre backs and drawing fouls.

Vladan Kovacevic denied Thomas with a low stop to his left (86.) as the visitors pressed for further daylight in the closing stages.

Stoke City registered 14 attempts, with four on target. The Canaries managed seven attempts and just one on target.
