Lyon beat Rennes 4-2 at Groupama Stadium to rise from fourth to third in Ligue 1 and extend their unbeaten league run to five.
Mousa Al-Taamari put Rennes ahead in the sixth minute, finishing low after Estéban Lepaul's pass. Roman Yaremchuk glanced in Corentin Tolisso's cross to level (37.).
Afonso Moreira then won a penalty after Brice Samba fouled him, and Tolisso converted from the spot (42.). After the restart, Lepaul equalised from Al-Taamari's cross (48.), taking him to 19 league goals, first in the Ligue 1 scoring chart.
Les Gones regained control when Moreira latched onto Abner's through ball to restore the lead (52.). After the changes on 70 minutes, Tolisso threaded another pass and Endrick swept in the clincher (75.).
Dominik Greif made important stops from Breel Embolo before the interval as the visitors threatened a second.
Les Gones produced 16 attempts, with nine on target. Rennes registered eight attempts, testing the goalkeeper five times.
