According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica are close to negotiating a move for midfielder Tomás Cruz, who is not in Marco Silva’s plans.
Dinamo Bucharest made the first approach, proposing a permanent transfer with a fixed fee plus add-ons that could total around 500,000 euros.
Kairat then entered the race, showing readiness to table an offer on similar terms. Both proposals include Benfica retaining a significant share of Cruz’s economic rights and a percentage of any future profit from a subsequent sale.
The Luxembourg international played 30 times for Benfica B last season, and also featured three times for the under-23s.
Signed in 2024, he was a regular under Nélson Veríssimo in the second team. He was not selected for first-team pre-season, which could facilitate a move during this window.
