Roma is looking for attacking midfielders to bolster Gasperini’s attacking lineup for next season.
Among the players the Giallorossi are interested in is Nikola Vlasic.
The Croatian, born in 1997, enjoyed his best season with Torino: 9 goals and 5 assists, leading the Granata to a relatively comfortable relegation.
These performances have Gasperini interested, as he’s eager to add a quality addition to the attacking midfield.
Gasperini’s Roma are interested in Vlasic as a way to improve their quality for next season.
However, as Tuttosport reports, snatching the player from Torino will not be easy.
The Granata consider the vice-captain a key asset on and off the pitch and are aiming to secure him.
Cairo and Petrachi are considering a contract renewal, despite an option for a further year (currently expiring in 2027) with a salary increase (he currently earns €3.7 million gross).
There are currently no negotiations with Roma, but they remain interested and are closely monitoring the situation.
Vlasic is currently focused on the next World Cup with Croatia; there will be time for the transfer market.
Torino is in no rush to negotiate the attacking midfielder’s sale, aware that the World Cup showcase could further increase his value. All discussions regarding a renewal and a possible move to the capital have been postponed.
