Tottenham have completed the signing of Italy international Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United in a club-record deal worth up to £100m.
The agreement reportedly sees Spurs pay an initial £92.5m, with a further £7.5m in performance-related add-ons.
Tonali has signed a six-year contract after being persuaded by new head coach Roberto De Zerbi's vision for the club.
The 26-year-old midfielder becomes the latest major addition to Tottenham's summer rebuild, following the arrivals of Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke and Martin Dúbravka.
Widely regarded as one of Europe's finest deep-lying midfielders, Tonali brings Premier League experience after making more than 100 appearances for Newcastle following his move from AC Milan in 2023.
