Tottenham have signed Conor Gallagher on a five-and-a-half-year contract from Atlético de Madrid for a reported £35m fee.

Spurs matched Atleti's valuation to sign to England midfielder following reported interest from Premier League rivals Aston Villa, who wanted to sign him on loan.
Gallagher made just four LaLiga starts under Diego Simeone in the 2025/26 campaign and will seek regular football at Spurs ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Thomas Frank's side moved quickly to sign the 25-year-old to add greater depth following their recent injury crisis.
The North Londoners are currently without James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, Lucas Bergvall, Richarlison and Mohammed Kudus.
