Tottenham Hotspur defender Alfie Dorrington has sensationally pulled out of his proposed transfer to Polish Ekstraklasa side Pogon Szczecin at the last minute.

The 21-year-old academy product appeared set for a permanent move abroad after Tottenham and Pogon Szczecin agreed a transfer fee.

Dorrington was scheduled to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms in Poland. However, in a dramatic late twist, the youngster had a change of heart just as the deal neared completion.

He has now halted all proceedings with the Polish club, informing both boardrooms that he no longer intends to finalise the move.
