In a recent report, The Daily Mail claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are eager to land Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson this summer. It has been mentioned that Spurs are keen on recruiting the Senegalese striker in this transfer period.
Jackson enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Bayern Munich in the previous campaign when he served as a good back up to Harry Kane. He put in several productive performances off the bench. The 25-year-old banged in 11 goals and grabbed four assists in 34 matches for the Bavarian club last season on all fronts.
The Senegalese talent is currently among the most talented strikers in his homeland. Hence, Spurs would do well to get a deal done for him this off-season.
His current contract at his parent club, Chelsea, will run out in the summer of 2033, which could make it tough for Tottenham to sign him on a cut-price deal in this transfer period.

Jackson is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He can create the odd chance for others around him in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Senegalese can be a streaky goal-scorer in the final third when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. Jackson is primarily a centre-forward but can also function as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so by his manager. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Tottenham.
We can expect Jackson to bring more firepower to Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.
At 25, Jackson has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent fit for the North London club’s needs this summer. He will also help Spurs challenge across all competitions over the next few years. Therefore, De Zerbi should focus on going all out to secure his services before the end of this summer transfer period.
