In a recent report, Alfredo Pedulla claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to land Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush this summer. It has been stated that Spurs are eyeing a move to bring the Egypt international to North London this off-season.

Marmoush’s Up-And-Down Season In The Premier League

Marmoush had an inconsistent campaign at the Mancunian club, but managed to put in a run of productive displays for them in the final third. The 27-year-old banged in eight goals and grabbed three assists in 36 matches for Man City last season on all fronts.

The Egyptian talent is currently among the most talented forwards in his homeland. Thus, it is no surprise that Spurs are trying to get a deal done for him later this year.

His current deal at the Etihad Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Tottenham to sign him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

Will Marmoush Be A Good Choice For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi?

Marmoush excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The Egyptian talent can even contribute by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team but is far from a consistent goal-getter in the final third. Marmoush is primarily a centre-forward but can also function as a left-winger if told to do so. He has already got some experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Tottenham.

We can expect Marmoush to add more firepower to Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.

At 27, Marmoush has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the North London club to pursue in this transfer window. He will also help Spurs get back to challenging for European football in the Premier League over the next few years.
