Tottenham Hotspur could soon ‘focus on’ Juventus defender Gleison Bremer and make an offer, with the Bianconeri now viewing the Brazilian as ‘expendable’.
The Lilywhites endured a difficult campaign, finishing 17th in the Premier League and narrowly escaping relegation under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
De Zerbi made a real impact though and there is a feel-good factor in north London as the Italian embarks upon a summer of recruitment, which has already kicked off with the capture of Andrew Robertson.
Tottenham are already in talks with Bayern Munich to make Joao Palhinha’s move permanent, but they do not want to pay the €30m clause.
Spurs are also looking for a goalkeeper, with Juventus increasing contact with Guglielmo Vicario in recent days and they are considering Ligue 1 star Lucas Chevalier as an option.

A centre-back is also on their agenda with Roma’s Evan Ndicka one of many on their list, but it has been suggested that the defender is not convinced regarding a move to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Tottenham are now showing interest in another Serie A centre-back in the shape of Juventus’ Bremer, who they could ‘focus on’ in the coming days and weeks, according to Italian daily La Repubblica (via Tutto Juve).
Juventus now see Bremer as ‘expendable’ as they look to make sure they meet financial fair play regulations given they will not have Champions League cash coming in and Tottenham could make a bid.
The Brazilian still has three years left on his current deal and has a release clause in the region of €58m, but due to Juventus’ current financial situation, they might consider offers lower than the figure in the clause.

Bremer joined Bianconerri in the summer of 2022 and has featured 122 times for the Italian giants in the process.
Spurs’ Premier League rivals Liverpool have also regularly shown interest in Bremer over recent seasons and took special interest in him at the 2024 Copa America.
Tottenham in the past have ventured into the Italian market and it remains to be seen whether Bremer will join the London giants this summer.
