Both clubs issued official club press releases this morning confirming the transfer.
It has been reported that the player has signed on with Spurs until summer 2028.
The 26-year-old Dutch stopper joins Spurs after spending the last 18 months of her career at Leicester City. Kop has made 17 appearances for The Foxes in all competitions, keeping four clean sheets in the process. Kop was a member of the Leicester City side that were defeated 2-1 after extra-time by Spurs in last season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup semi-finals.
Prior to her spell at Leicester City, Kop spent her early years with Ajax where she won two Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie titles, three KNVB Women’s Cups and the Eredivisie Cup.
On the international stage, Kop is a member of the Dutch national team. She has been capped on 13 occasions by her country to date and was a FIFA Women’s World Cup runner-up in 2019.
Kop is Spurs’ second signing of the January transfer window. The keeper comes in just weeks after former Spurs loanee Katelin Talbert returned to parent club West Ham United. Kop will compete with Becky Spencer and Eleanor Heeps for the number one goalkeeping jersey in her time in North London.
