Indeed, Tottenham has not closed the Harry Kane chapter. On the eve of hosting Doncaster in the Carabao Cup, Thomas Frank publicly hinted at the possibility of the Spurs icon making a comeback.

"I think there are a lot of Tottenham fans, myself included, who would love to see Kane back. He is an exceptional player," he admitted,

before adding a note of caution: "Honestly, I don't think he'll do it right now. He's probably happy at Bayern and performing well. But he's always welcome."

These comments come as Kane continues to break records in the Bundesliga and leads a Bayern Munich side that remains at the top of the table. While an immediate return isn't on the cards, the idea is no longer off-limits in London. Reports from England suggest there is a release clause of around €65 million at the end of the season, fueling speculation about a reunion if all parties can reach an agreement.

Frank, appointed this summer and determined to reignite Tottenham on all fronts, is sending a clear message. No forced soap opera, just an open hand and clear conditions: if the opportunity arises, the club and its fans will be ready to welcome a second chapter. In the meantime, the Danish manager is relying on a younger, ambitious squad, with the idea that the door remains open for the club legend who scored 280 goals in 435 appearances in the famous white shirt.
