Tottenham Hotspur's defensive injury crisis shows no signs of slowing down as centre-back Kevin Danso is reportedly set for a spell on the sidelines.
Danso was recruited in the January transfer window after Ange Postecoglou had struggled on without injured trio Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies, the latter of whom remains out with a fresh knock.
Spurs lost Radu Dragusin to a serious knee injury in January which is likely to sideline him for the majority of the calendar year, and football.london state Danso has now joined the Romanian in the treatment room.
Danso is believed to have picked up a muscle injury late in Tottenham's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth and held his hamstring as physios accompanied him straight down the tunnel after the final whistle.
The severity of Danso's injury is not yet known but he is likely to miss a handful of weeks, although a favourable calendar could mean the 26-year-old's absence is not sorely felt.
Spurs face AZ Alkmaar on Thursday in the second leg of their Europa League last 16 clash and then travel to face Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday in their final game before a two-week international break.
Chelsea are on the agenda on 3 April and Postecoglou will be desperate to have as many defensive options as possible. It was December's 4-3 defeat to the Blues which sparked the team's injury crisis as both Romero and Van de Ven suffered significant injuries from which they have only recently returned.
