Tottenham winger Mikey Moore has emerged as a loan transfer target for Middlesbrough this summer, according to Hayters.

The Championship club are competing with German clubs Hamburg and FC Koln to sign Moore. Spurs are prepared to sanction another temporary departure for the ‘special‘ 18-year-old.

He spent last season on loan with Rangers, making 47 appearances in all competitions and recording 11 direct goal contributions.

Tottenham are pursuing at least two more attacking signings this summer, including a deal for Manchester City winger Savinho.

If that move is completed, it would open the door for Moore to head out on loan for a second successive season.

A move abroad appears to be the preferred option, with Hamburg and Koln reportedly leading the chase for Moore ahead of Middlesbrough.

Tottenham have previous experience loaning promising talent to Hamburg, with defender Luka Vuskovic impressing there last season before completing a move to Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.

Moore is highly rated at the club despite increased competition for places in their squad.
