Tottenham Hotspur have spent big so far this summer. The club are set to spend a combined €200m on Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, whilst the arrivals of Jan Paul van Hecke (€60m), Andy Robertson (free), Marcos Senesi (free), and Martin Dubravka (free) have already been confirmed.
The Independent understands that the big spending will continue. Following Spurs’ flirt with relegation last season, Roberto De Zerbi is keen to strengthen the forward line ahead of the coming season. AFC Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi heads Tottenham Hotspur’s three-man shortlist.
The France youth international is valued highly. Amid interest from Arsenal, and also reportedly from Paris Saint-Germain, Bournemouth are looking for a fee north of £80m. Competition for Kroupi’s signature is therefore intense, although Tottenham Hotspur are very keen on the forward. AC Milan’s Rafael Leao is another option for the Premier League side, who are looking to get their transfer business wrapped up early.
