Tottenham host Nottingham Forest in a Premier League relegation six-pointer as both teams scrap to avoid the drop.
Spurs, who have not been relegated since 1977, sit 16th in the table, one point above Forest, who are themselves only above West Ham and the relegation zone on goal difference.
Tottenham are the only side without a Premier League win this year, but they secured their first victory under Igor Tudor by beating Atletico Madrid 3-2 in the Champions League this midweek.
That came after a battling 1-1 draw at Liverpool, though Forest have also shown signs of being up for the fight by drawing 2-2 at Manchester City and picking up another point against Fulham in their last two domestic outings.
With just eight games of the season remaining, a victory for either side would boost their chances of survival, though a defeat would plunge the loser into grave relegation danger.
Literally and figuratively, Igor Tudor is no longer pointless. The Tottenham manager lost his unwanted 100 per cent record, got his first result to savour and, just perhaps, brought the first signs of a revival that may save a beleaguered club. Spurs’ club-record run of defeats is over, halted at six after their first draw in six weeks. For Liverpool, an inability to beat a club seemingly in crisis could come at a cost. They are stumbling when they could have strolled back towards the Champions League.

Vitor Pereira is waiting for his first league victory since taking over as Forest’s fourth coach of the campaign while the team have not taken three points in any of their past eight fixtures, though there have been battling draws against Manchester City and Fulham in their past two outings.
And with West Ham playing at the same time away to Aston Villa, both teams know they could end the afternoon with a buffer to the bottom three or stuck deep in the mire with only seven more matches to play.
