After a scintillating 4-0 victory against Manchester City in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to carry their momentum into the Europa League.
Ange Postecoglou’s side will face AS Roma in a high-stakes encounter that promises excitement despite the challenges Spurs currently face.
The North London outfit have been a force to reckon with this season, claiming big wins over Manchester United, Aston Villa, and now City.
However, their European campaign has hit a bump, with a recent loss to Galatasaray leaving them needing a strong result against Roma to stay in contention.

Ahead of the clash, Roma defender Mats Hummels showered praise on Tottenham's transformation under Postecoglou.
Speaking to Roma’s media team, Hummels expressed admiration for the Spurs' high-intensity playing style, calling it "impressive" and full of purpose.
Hummels also singled out Micky van de Ven, describing the Dutch defender as one of the best young talents in football. "He’s incredibly fast, reaching speeds of 40 km/h," Hummels noted.
However, Tottenham will have to face Roma without Van de Ven, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Additionally, as quoted by The Independent, AS Roma manager Claudio Ranieri acknowledged the challenge his team faces but was quick to commend Spurs for their recent form, highlighting their dominant 4-0 triumph over Manchester City.
Spurs are dealing with several key injuries. Richarlison, Wilson Odobert, and Cristian Romero are all unavailable, while young star Mikey Moore is out with a virus.
Adding to their woes, Will Lankshear will miss the game due to suspension following his red card against Galatasaray.
Despite these setbacks, Tottenham remain optimistic. James Maddison, fresh from a standout performance against Manchester City, is expected to play a pivotal role.
Maddison’s creativity and composure will be essential as Spurs look to unlock a Roma defence led by Hummels.
The stage is set for an electrifying encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Postecoglou’s men will need to dig deep to overcome Roma and demonstrate the resilience that has made them one of the Premier League’s most exciting teams this season.
With Maddison firing on all cylinders and the crowd ready to rally behind their team, Spurs have every chance to deliver another memorable performance.
For Tottenham, this game is not just about three points—it’s a statement opportunity in their quest for European success.
