Tottenham teenager Luka Vuskovic has emerged from a standout loan at Hamburg to earn high-profile backing, including a comparison to Cristiano Ronaldo and suggestions he could suit Bayern Munich.

"I'm sure that one day he will play for one of the best clubs in the world. Of course, he's also one for FC Bayern," Nenad Bjelica said, speaking to Sport Bild.

"What makes him even more special is that Luka was already exceptionally determined and focused at 16, when he debuted in Croatia's first division."

The 19-year-old returns to Spurs on July 1 after his successful stint in Germany. He is under contract until 2030, with interest growing across Europe and in the Premier League.

"His audacity, his composure on the ball, his tenacity in challenges fascinate me," Bjelica added. "He has what also brought Cristiano Ronaldo to the top: living for football 24 hours a day."

Vuskovic is currently with Croatia at the World Cup, another stage to burnish his reputation. Tottenham must now weigh up the next step in a window that could prove crucial.
