Trabzonspor confirm signing of former Marseille midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi | OneFootball

Trabzonspor have signed former Marseille midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi on a three-year contract. The club said in a statement on Friday that the 33-year-old joined as a free agent following the end of his Genoa deal.

Malinovskyi spent 2023 to 2024 with Olympique de Marseille, moving to Genoa on loan from Marseille before making the switch permanent for 7.7 million euros.

For the Italian club he played 74 matches in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.

The Ukraine international has 70 caps.

The Black Sea club continues to build after a strong campaign. Trabzonspor finished on the Super Lig podium to reach the Europa League, and won the Turkish Cup by beating Konyaspor 2-1 in the final.
