Trabzonspor have entered a decisive phase in hiring a successor to Fatih Tekke. 61saat reports the club have offered German coach Thomas Reis an initial contract running to the end of the season.

Talks began swiftly after Tekke’s departure was announced, with club chiefs holding a first meeting with Reis, who is currently in charge at Bulgarian side Ludogorets. They outlined a clear plan for the coming months.

His coaching journey began in youth football with the under-19 teams at Bochum and Wolfsburg, before senior roles at Bochum and Schalke 04. He then moved to Samsunspor for his first job in Türkiye before switching to Bulgaria.
