Trabzonspor could turn to Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa if a permanent deal for Manchester United’s Andre Onana does not materialise, Sabah reports.

Onana spent last season on loan, keeping six clean sheets in 33 games and helping Trabzonspor win the Turkish Cup. His loan did not include a purchase clause, though the club are interested in signing him outright.

Former Walsall wide man Tom Knowles has joined League Two rivals Barnet on a free transfer. He reunites with former Saddlers team-mate Brandon Comley, with Charlie Lakin also signing for the Bees after the pair left Bescot this summer. The 27-year-old scored seven goals and made 10 assists in 92 outings for Walsall across two seasons.

Aston Villa have reportedly had an opening £7.7million bid for Emerson Royal rejected by Flamengo, with negotiations said to remain active.

Emerson spent three years at Tottenham after arriving from Barcelona in 2021, scoring four goals in 101 appearances in England. The 27-year-old moved to AC Milan in 2024, then returned to Brazil with Flamengo. He has 10 caps for Brazil.
