Pep Guardiola’s side travel to St James’ Park for the last-16 tie on Saturday 7 March, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 (UK).

The clash comes three days after our 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League where we were pegged back twice at the Etihad Stadium.

Antoine Semenyo gave us a first-half lead, before Morgan Gibbs-White equalised shortly after the interval.

We were back ahead when Rodri headed home Rayan Ait-Nouri’s corner but the visitors levelled again through Elliot Anderson.

As a result, Guardiola, his staff and players took part in a recovery session before our meticulous work ahead of the Magpies intensified.
