We’re back in Premier League action on Saturday, travelling to Elland Road for a 17:30 (UK) kick-off against Leeds United.

City come into the tie hot on the heels of league leaders Arsenal and in a rich vein of form, winning our last five in all competitions.

That includes a hard-fought 2-1 win over Newcastle United in our last outing, with a Nico O’Reilly brace earning all three points at the Etihad Stadium.

But Leeds certainly aren’t there just to make up the numbers, with Daniel Farke overseeing an impressive revival in recent months.

The hosts have lost just twice since November, with only Tottenham, Aston Villa and Arsenal coming away with victories from Yorkshire this season.

City ran out 3-2 winners thanks to a late Phil Foden strike in our last meeting at the end of November, and a similarly tough assignment is expected on Saturday evening.

With that in mind, the players were hard at work on the training pitch to make sure we’re ready for the challenge on Saturday evening.
