The best images from training ahead of City's WSL clash with Brighton.

The Blues travel to Broadfield Stadium on Saturday 25 April with kick-off set for 12:00 (UK).

It’s our first WSL clash since a 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, which edged City closer to the title.

The Blues sit nine points clear at the summit with three fixtures remaining but, should Arsenal win their two games in hand, then that lead is cut down to five.

A win over a dangerous Brighton side, therefore, would provide a huge boost to City as the final weeks of the season approach.

BRIGHTON v CITY: MATCH PREVIEW

Our first fixture since the April international break, the Blues will be hoping to pick up where we left off but face a difficult challenge against the Seagulls.

The hosts currently sit sixth in the WSL table and provided City with a stern test in the reverse encounter back in September.

Indeed, it took second half goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Yui Hasegawa to earn a 2-1 win at the Joie Stadium, and an equally difficult clash is expected on Saturday.

The girls were hard at work in the CFA sun to give us the best possible chance of victory.
