FC Bayern’s plans for the coming season are still in full swing. The Munich club are keeping a close eye on the transfer market, especially in defense – and once again a name that has been under discussion at Säbener Straße for some time has come up: Yann Aurel Bisseck
The record champions have already been linked with several defenders in recent days, including Manchester City’s John Stones, but this track does not appear to be very hot
Nevertheless, Max Eberl and those responsible at Bayern continue to keep a close eye on the market for defensive players
As the Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Yann Aurel Bisseck is still on Munich’s list. The Inter Milan central defender is said to be an exciting profile internally – particularly due to his versatility and physical presence
Particularly interesting: Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano also confirms that Bisseck is „one of the names“ being discussed at FC Bayern
The Munich club are still planning to sign a defensive all-rounder, and Bisseck fits this profile perfectly
The 25-year-old can play centrally in a back three or back four as well as on the right side of defence. The DFB international also brings enormous athleticism, pace and heading power to the table
According to the report, Bisseck would certainly be open to a move to the Bundesliga, and a move to Munich could be particularly interesting for him, especially with a view to the German national team
More attention in the DFB environment and regular matches at the highest level could increase his chances of long-term appearances for the national team

However, it is also clear that Inter Milan are under no pressure regarding a potential transfer. The Italian champions still see Bisseck as an important part of their defense, so a sale would only be considered if a correspondingly high offer were made
There is currently no acute pressure to act at FC Bayern, who are basically well-positioned in the center of defence with Jonathan Tah, Dayot Upamecano, Minjae Kim and Hiroki Ito
However, possible departures in the summer could change the situation
This is precisely why Bayern are apparently continuing to keep a close eye on the situation surrounding Bisseck.
