Tottenham hope grows over £85m Junior Kroupi pursuit

Tottenham are said to have hope that an £85million deal for Eli Junior Kroupi could be possible.

The Bournemouth forward is Spurs’ next target of a stunning summer window that has already seen them spend upwards of £230m.

TalkSPORT, who report that Spurs are keen to reshape their attack, with Richarlison expected to leave.

Bournemouth are understood to have no intention of selling Kroupi, who remains under a long-term contract, but Spurs are reportedly undeterred.

The 20-year-old impressed in his first Premier League season, scoring 13 goals in 33 league appearances to attract interest from several leading clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.

Newcastle may rival Man Utd for Andrey Santos

Manchester United face competition to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos this summer.

Standard Sport understands that Newcastle are also interested in Santos, who, while appreciated by Chelsea, is open to a move elsewhere this summer in search of regular first-team minutes.

Moises Caicedo’s contract extension means that Santos is likely to remain as the Ecuadorian’s understudy next season, and the 22-year-old is now exploring his options.

Chelsea want to keep Santos, but do not view the Brazilian as untouchable and would be open to selling him if the price was right.

Santos made just 13 Premier League starts last season, and though he showed glimpses of his quality, both Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior struggled to trust him in place of Caicedo.
