Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all expected to be busy once the summer transfer window officially opens, though plenty of work is being done behind the scenes. The Gunners, the newly-crowned Premier League champions, are set to spend big again as Mikel Arteta sets his sights on retaining the title and going one step further in the Champions League.
Morgan Rogers, Jeremy Monga and Julian Alvarez have been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium, while there could be some significant outgoings. Man United, meanwhile, are closing in on the signing of midfielder Ederson after reaching an agreement with Atalanta for a £35million deal which can be partly funded by the official sale of Rasmus Hojlund. Incoming Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso could lose both Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella - both attracting interest from Spain - but Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen are said to be on the shortlist.
Tottenham are finalising the free signings of Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, and a deal for Savinho has been teased. Liverpool are hoping to appoint Andoni Iraola as their new manager imminently and Manchester City have seen an offer for Elliot Anderson rejected.
