Transfer news – PSG secure the signing of a young talent

Arthur Vignaud, an 18-year-old goalkeeper trained at Paris Saint-Germain, reached the end of his youth contract this summer. So an important decision had to be made regarding his first professional deal. According to L’Équipe, it is now done, with a 3-year contract signed at PSG.

“Goalkeeper for PSG’s U19 team and in the Youth League, young Arthur Vignaud (18) has signed his first professional contract. This young goalkeeper, who appeared this season with the U19s and the Youth League reserve side, has been playing for PSG for five years. He arrived in 2021 from Issy-les-Moulineaux. Endowed with solid technique and seen by his coaches as a player for the future, Vignaud, who signed a three-year contract (2029), will aim to develop physically next season.”

It would be surprising if the sports daily had gone ahead with such a story while being so categorical at random. Vignaud must indeed have signed his contract with PSG, hoping to gradually earn a place for himself at the professional level. It will certainly take patience and hard work. Quite possibly at least one loan move as well. But the ambition behind this signing is clear, as is the club’s confidence in him.
