Roma are interested in Joshua Zirkzee, while Napoli are following Kobbie Mainoo, but Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim insists that ‘none have asked’ to leave the Red Devils: ‘We have no conversations at this moment about having any change in the squad.’
Manchester United coach Amorim suggested on Friday that the Red Devils are not considering selling any of their players in the January transfer window.

“No, none have asked. I don’t expect them to come to me and ask anything,” Amorim said at a press conference via Manchester Evening News.
“The transfer window is not going to change. We have no conversations at this moment about having any change in the squad. There is a process, there is an idea that is going to continue. We are near the Champions League places, but we are also near like 18th behind us, so let’s focus on the next game, just that, and our focus is to win the next game.”
It is no secret that Roma are long-time admirers of Zirkzee, a former Bologna striker, but according to reports in Italy, the Red Devils are unwilling to sell the Dutchman, at least in the first part of January.

The Giallorossi have also set their sights on Zirkzee’s Manchester United teammate Mainoo, but Napoli have been following the promising English midfielder as well.
It’s unclear whether the Serie A clubs will succeed in convincing the Red Devils to part with the duo, but Amorim’s latest claims suggest that the English side is reluctant to make major changes during the January transfer window.

Roma are looking for reinforcements in attack and have also opened talks with Atletico Madrid’s Giacomo Raspadori.
“We would like to have players who are ready, but anyone arriving in January is rarely in the right condition,” Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini said at a press conference on Friday.
